Yolandi & Rhett

I want to introduce you guys to two of my favorite people in the world, Yolandi and Rhett.

Yolandi and I met when we were 10 years old, and we've been inseparable ever since. Rhett, kind-of didn't have a choice but to love me as he was marrying my baby sister (we've always thought of each other as sisters). Luckily me and Lyle hit it off with Rhett straight away (I mean seriously who can't love this guy). And now I cant think of him as not being part of our lives.

I had so much fun on this shoot. I cant remember the last time I laughed that loud. We started off at a kiddies play area at a restaurant in Fourways and them moved over to Monte Casino. I really wanted to share all the pics with you guys but there were 200 so I had to narrow it down. These are some of my favorites from the day.

Thinus and Lana

I did a shoot with my brother, Thinus and his new girlfriend Lana at the Menlyn Drive In. It is so special to se two people so in love. I hope you guys never loose those butterflies. 

Ann & Quinton

being from Johannesburg, I've been longing to do a shoot on the beach. So while we were visiting the in-laws down in East London I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do a shoot on the beach with my brother in law, Quinton and his beautiful girlfriend Ann. I am quite pleased with the results.

Heska and Ryno Couple Shoot

Heska and Ryno are not your conventional couple... by this I mean that Heska is a bit of a tomboy, always have been... I remember when we were little I always wanted her to play Barbie with me but she always wanted to play army with the boys. She hasn't changed much but she was very fortunate to meet Ryno that is a real boerseun, and to Ryno Heska is the perfect woman, a blond bomshell that can hunt, hates shopping,  and drives a bakkie, what more does a guy want? As I have known Heska her entire life, I think I am qualified to say that these two were made for each other. 

The photo's were taken at the beautiful Buffelshoop Farm between Mooinooi and Hartebeespoort Dam. Ryno was a bit reluctant (which seems to be a norm with the men) but like only the apple of his eye can, Heska convinced (and bribed) him to play along.

Chantelle and Eon E-session

Chantelle and Eon have been together for 4 years. They got engaged in December 2010 and will get married on the 6th of August 2011. I must say, I was so impressed with Eon the 2 hour shoot ended up being a 4hour shoot and he did not complain once.... APPLAUSE for Eon. Anyhow the day started out very dull but luckily there is nothing dull about this gorgeous venue (The Union Buildings in Pretoria) so even when it threatened to start raining we still got great pics. After the Union Buildings we moved to University of Pretoria (TUKS) Hatfield Campus..... WOW, you spend 4years of your life inside these beautiful buildings and yet never really look at them. Anyhow, without any further a du I present the future Mr and Mrs Van Zyl.

Nicolaas and Tanja

My cousin turned 18 in April and we all went down to my uncles farm for the weekend. Him and Tanja met each other at a show and they have been together for about 6 months. She is such a gorgeous girl and I really love the farm, so I asked them if we can do a couple shoot. They were very reluctant but I am difficult to say no to... LOL. Anyhow, it turned out to be such a grungy day but like I said, location is stunning. Here is the results.......

Jason and Chitra Couple Shoot

Lyle met Jason back in SA through work and they became great friends. When we moved up to Singapore we met Chitra and she became a good friend as well. Jason is one of the funniest people I have ever met. We had a blast on this shoot. I couldn't stop laughing.

(Sorry I'm a bit late with this post, but someone wanted to approve the pics first.... paranoid! LOL)

Tanja and Tom Valentine Shoot

Tom met Tanja in Munich, while he was living in Monaco. They instantly fell in love, so much so that when Tom had to move to Singapore, he asked Tanja to move with him... and she did. Tom has been promising Tanja a couple shoot for some time now, so when I asked Tanja if I can do a shoot with them, she said yes.

Sally and Shaun Botanical Garden Shoot

We were very fortunate to meet Shaun through Lyle's work in SA about a year ago. When we moved to Singapore we met Sally. They have been together for about a year now and they are so in love..... It is so quite and they are really made for each other.

I had so much fun doing this quick shoot with them!
