I met Fiona and Nick in the beginning of the year at a mutual friends wedding in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. We hit it off strait away and became really good friends. They have three gorgeous kiddies, Mason, Noah and Ruby. We had to reschedule the this shoot after Nick had a little mishap while cutting the boy's hair... luckily hair grows back and we could finally get these pics done.
I love it, I hope you will to!

Cockcroft Boys
Hi everyone, long time no see.
Here is the shoot I did a few weeks ago with the Cockcroft Boys and their gorgeous mom, Marian. I am so excited to show you this, cause this shoot was my very first Aussie shoot!
The Cockcroft family is actually originally from South Africa (we South African's tend to stick together no matter where we are in the world), they have been in Australia for about ten years and since the boys basically grew up here, they are about as Aussie as you can get.
Matthew recently turned 21 and his mom thought it would be a great time to get some photo's done of him, and since she just turned 50 and Jonathan will be 21 next year, she also wanted some of the two of them.

Ferreira Family
I was so excited when Delri asked me to take some photo's of her family. She recently had a new baby boy, Xanru and also have a 3 year old called Juwan. She and Morne really has their hands full with little Juwan, and I'm sure he is going to show his new little brother exactly how it's done. Luckily Grandma Annemarie and Grandpa Ignatius are always close by to lend a hand.

Hoffman Family
After Mary and Nico Pieterse's Pot Belly shoot and new baby Emily's shoot, Mary contacted me again to ask if I can do a Family shoot with her and Nico, her two brothers, Jacques and David, their wives, Daleen and Melani, and Emily's two cousins Heidi and Kylie and off course grandma Diana and grandpa Sias Hoffman. It was so much fun whenever I was shooting the 3 girls, all the mommies and daddies were jumping up and down and making funny noises behind me to get them to smile. It worked on Heidi , It sometimes worked on Kylie, But Emily was not fazed at all, she was probably thinking, "What family did I get myself into?"

Combrink Family
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family in Nelspruit. We started off doing some shots at their home and then drove out to their farm just outside Nelspruit. The Combrink Family was so much fun to shoot, there was never a dull moment. The kids wanted to jump and run and roll in the grass, so I got some great shots. Thanks guys!

Goosen Family
Antoinette and Jacques Goosen is not used to being on the other side of the camera lens. They are the owners of SANHU (South African Natural History Unit) and used to all the drama of a photo shoot and dealing with difficult models.... well their models are animals most of the time, so I guess they have the right to be difficult. Lucky for me the family were perfectly gracious models... Antoinette wanted some family photo's taken basically because the family are so rarely together. You see Nicolas is currently studying in England, Lyndill and her husband Pieter lives in Cape Town, which only leaves Antoinette, Jacques and Zander in the Lowveld.
So the day started out beautiful, the sun was shining, the sky was blue, perfect for a afternoon shoot, and I was so excited to catch a beautiful Lowveld sunset as the Goosen home is located on top of a mountain just outside Nelspruit. But as Murphy would have it, as soon as we started the shoot, the wind came up, the skies turned black, and about 45min later it was pouring down with rain.
But despite the bad weather, I managed to capture some beautiful pics....
